Meatball Stew
I like my roux thick I always use a little more flour to oil ratio. Roux needs to be dark
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup oil
1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
4 cups water
2 cups beef broth
4 med potato’s
Baby carrots
1 tablespoon Slap Ya Momma
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 clove minced garlic
2 tsp fresh chopped parsley
Season ground beef with seasoning and garlic. Form into meatballs and brown on each side. Drain excess grease and add trinity and cook with meatballs a few min. Add water, broth and roux and cook for 1 1/2 hrs. Add potatoes and carrots and cook another 45 min. Garnish with parsley
